Quick Start Guide

This guide walks you from creating an account to your first Swiss-hosted, privacy-first AI conversation in just a few minutes.

Overview​

1. Create Your Account​

  1. Go to schatziai.ch and click Get Started or Login.
  2. Register with your email address and a secure password.
  3. Accept the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
  4. Confirm your email address via the verification link.

We recommend using a strong, unique password and enabling two-factor authentication for production use.

2. Choose Your Plan​

After activating your account, you will be prompted to pick a plan.

  • Lite — ideal for trying Schatzi AI, light usage, and experimentation.
  • Basic — for daily professional use, larger documents, and teams.

You can upgrade or downgrade later from your account settings. Payments are processed securely and remain subject to Swiss and EU data protection rules.

3. Access Your Chat Workspace​

  1. Log in at schatziai.ch.
  2. Open your OpenWebUI workspace — this is your main chat interface.
  3. In the top bar, select the AI model you want to use.
  4. Optionally adjust settings such as language, context length, or history.

Your workspace is already connected to Schatzi’s Swiss infrastructure — no additional setup is required.

4. Start Your First Conversation​

  1. Click New chat in the sidebar.
  2. Describe what you want to achieve (for example “Summarise this contract in German” or “Draft a client email in French and English”).
  3. Paste or upload documents if needed.
  4. Iterate with follow-up questions until you are satisfied with the result.

For privacy-sensitive content, ensure you are using the workspace and model configuration approved by your organisation’s IT or compliance team.

5. Understand Usage and Billing​

Schatzi AI uses token-based billing similar to other AI platforms.

  • Tokens are the units of text processed (input plus output).
  • Different models have different prices per million tokens.
  • Your plan includes a monthly token allowance; additional usage is billed transparently.
